ABOUT US

Our Centre is located in Lomonosov Moscow State University. It is open for everyone, who has a desire to learn Russian Language and also the culture, history and traditions of Russia. One of the main humanitarian goals of the XXI century is to shorten the distance between different cultures. There are no bad or good cultures. One culture could not be better than another. All of them are simply different. And in this sense Russian culture with its thousand-year history is a part of the modern civilization. That is why we aim not only to teach foreigner to speak Russian without mistakes, but to communicate in Russian correctly, to understand Russia, its people, their customs and manners.

Since its founding in 1991, the Center for Russian Language and Culture has hosted students from more then 40 countries of the world, from different universities colleges and other educational institutes of Europe, Asia, Australia, USA.
Besides students pursuing a formal course of university studies, we have instructed the personnel and families of corporations such as BBC, KPMG, Burrick Russia Holdings Inc., Van Clief and Apples, CCFD; governmental and private agencies, including UNO, HSBC bank, Statoil, SCANIA; and foreign legations such as the Embassies of the USA, Italy, France, TACIS, Linklaters CIS, etc.
We are proud with the results of our students dealing with Russian language in their professional careers.
