MORNING CLASSES

4 times a week from Monday to Friday from 9:00 am till 12:40 pm and from 13:00 pm till 16:40 pm

EVENING CLASSES

twice a week from Monday to Friday from 18:45 pm till 21:00 pm

All Russian language programs are based on research in the area of cultural studies and modern life in Russia.
They are flexible, responding precisely to your individual learning needs.

Express 1: For Beginners
This Russian language program is for beginners who has just started to learn Russian language and get acquainted with Russian culture. The aim of the Russian language course is to give general knowledge of spoken Russian and everyday conversation; to give the essentials of Russian language Grammar and elementary oral skills in Russian in a short period of time.

Express 2: Basic Russian
This Russian language program is for beginners who wants to continue their study of Russian language and culture; or for those, who wish to renew their basic knowledge of Russian after a break in their studies and to activate their vocabulary. Including an intensive lingua-cultural orientation the program helps you to communicate with Russian native speakers on everyday topics, to read and comprehend short original texts.

Express 3: Intermediate
This Russian language program is for those who has some background knowledge of Russian. The program improves your knowledge of Russian phonetics, morphology and syntax. It improves your ability to read original texts and strengthens the writing and speaking skills needed in everyday communication.

Express 4: Advanced Intermediate
This Russian language program is for those who has systematically-developed background knowledge of phonetics, morphology and syntax of the Russian language and experience in everyday communication. It is designed to help you to improve your pronunciation and to enhance your knowledge of Russian grammar. It introduces some peculiarities of functional styles and expands your vocabulary and socio-cultural background knowledge. The aim of the Russian language course is to improve fluent conversation skills in every day life and professional spheres, in reading fiction and newspapers, and in correspondence personal and business.

Express 5: Advanced
This Russian language program is for those who speaks Russian rather fluently. They already have reading and writing skills, as well as background cultural knowledge. This program helps to improve your knowledge of Russian grammar, word-formation, vocabulary, and stylistics. It helps you to perfect your oral skills and to study some works of classical and modern Russian literature.


  • Before your classes start on the first morning of your Russian language course you will take a Russian Language placement test (written and oral). On the basis of this entry test we will place you with other students at a similar level and offer a Russian language program of instruction tailored to your level of proficiency and professional needs. From that moment on, our instructors will help and guide you in your Russian language studies and monitoring your progress through weekly testing to assure rapid and effective Russian language learning.

  • The teachers at the Russian language courses are highly qualified specialists with many years of experience in teaching Russian for foreigners both at Lomonosov Moscow State University and various Russian language schools abroad. Some of them are the authors of text-books and teaching materials, which are well-known all over the world. And their original methods of teaching Russian as a foreign language are used for Russian Language course abroad.

  • At the end of the Russian Language Study Program our students are guided to the Moscow State University Center of Testing of foreign citizens in Russian Language to pass a test in Russian language and to receive an official certificate of international standard.
