In Russian we have two forms of future tense. If you want to express an action that will be happening repeatedly in the future, or if the outcome of the action is not certain, then you will use the compound future tense. Let see this futur tense today. To form the compound future tense, you will need to use the verb “быть” (to be) in the fututre and the infinitive of imperfective verbs.

Examples:

• Завтра я буду работать дома. (Tomorrow I will work at home.)
• Утром она будет гулять с сыном. (In the morning she will take a walk with her son.)
• Скоро мы будем играть в теннис. (We will play tennis soon.)
• Они не будут смотреть телевизор. (They won’t watch TV.)
