Prepositional Case and Location
The prepositional case is use to indicate the place of an action. It is usually used with adverbs such as “здесь” (here), “там” (there), “справа” (on the right), “слева” (on the left), etc., and answers to the question “где?” (where?). The preposition “в” or “на” is necessary to give the answer.

The prepositional case indicating the place of an action is often use with verbs like: “работать” (to work), “учиться” (to study), “жить” (to live).
