Russian language exams in Moscow

In order to work, study and reside in Russia, foreign citizens need to pass a Russian language exam.

The examination for foreign nationals to demonstrate their knowledge of Russian is required in the following circumstances:

• when enrolling into a Russian university;
• when obtaining a work permit (patent);
• when applying for a temporary residence permit;
• when obtaining a residence permit or Russian citizenship.
